Bon Acre Hamlet, EJP Construction Inc., a Rensselaer County-based development firm, is planning a mixed-use development called The Bon Acre Hamlet. Based on a “community center” or “main street” model, the plan calls for the establishment of numerous businesses, single-family and senior residential units linked together in a traditional pattern with sidewalks and pedestrian-level lighting. The project will also feature more than 40 acres of open space for hiking trails, ponds, playing fields, and other recreation areas. The entire project area consists of 92 acres.
